Popular Post havanaclub Posted March 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2020 I have smoked a handful of these cigars and they do not disappoint. Clipped with a straight guillotine and paired with some HC7 rum. This example is densely packed with a smooth Colorado wrapper. 1st: started with a very nutty viscous smoke that coated the palate. I have found these cigars to have excellent volume of smoke with a perfect amount of resistance to the draw. Creaminess picks up at the end of the first. 2nd: this is where the cigar starts to shine. Creamy, coffee bean and cake like flavours coming in at a good medium body. The woodiness is gone. 3rd: the burn is perfect and only required one relight due to me putting it down for a few minutes. This did not cause any ill effects. Stronger coffee notes, dough and nutty, upper end of medium. The cigar performed exceptionally well. Smoke time was 1 hour 50mins. This one was better than my last one back in late December. Rated 95. Side note: I have had a 17 esplendidos, Tainos Regional and this in the last few days. I was trying to think which one was the best and it is difficult to say. The Tainos was first and it blew me away. It will be a phenomenal cigar in years to come. The espy was outstanding, full and has legs! This Trova was all class and is ready and excellent now. So today I would go trova, in 5 years I would say Tainos, and 8-10 years the Esplendidos will rock. All 3 were 94plus pointers in my books. Cheers Foh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 9
