CampDelta369 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 San Cristobal La Punta single 2018 Very nice lighter brown wrapper. Firm sponginess of fresh tobacco. Pre light sweet hay, slight Barnard. 1/3: Starts with Nuttiness, slight sweet cream, and NO pepper like it was 11 months ago. I get some slight wood underneath. Burn is excellent. 2/3: Some roasted tobacco notes rise along with more mild woodsy shavings. Draw smoke is excellent and Ash is firm and holds entire half. more of same profile if not turned up a notch. 3/3: Some slight coffee bitterness added to start of this third. Burn is on auto pilot. The wood dominates here and noticeable black pepper on the finish. Things get a bit hot at the band and Strength overall is Medium- Full. It’s a strong cigar at the end and construction is perfecto yielding great smoke and burn. Overall a 90 right now and I feel age will further improve the last third which gets a bit monster, which I am starting to enjoy. 3
