Popular Post Chibearsv Posted March 15, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2020 Beautiful looking cigar, mottled wrapper, cold aroma isn't very strong, mostly cedar and wet newspaper. Easy draw and lights up nicely. First third is pretty light in flavor, lots of smoke and a woody flavor with a nice mouth feel. 2nd third adds some light cayenne pepper spice to the woodiness which isn't cedar, or oak. Kind of reminds me of mesquite wood with that spice. Final third adds just some hints of honey sweetness to the wood and pepper. Burn was reasonable throughout and only required one re-light. I don't know if more time will add or subtract from this cigar. This didn't have the cream and cherries of the RyJ Churchills that I'm used to and it has nowhere near the strength of the churchill but it wasn't bad, just different. I'd give it a solid B. 6
