2019 stock has surprised me with how good it's been with just 30 days rest.  It's led me to wonder if, when combined with the volatility that exists in the market recently, I should go deep a bit earlier than I thought when I started in CC's a year ago.  I've resisted that urge, mostly because I still don't feel I have a nail down on what exactly I love and don't.  This box was purchased without me having a great D4 experience, but I did enjoy thoroughly a D5, E2, Short, and Lusi and when combined with a killer clearance price here I couldn't resist.  Also, Robusto is a size I never really reach for, I usually go for something smaller or larger.  That, combined with so many Robusto options, led me to jump on this cigar as my on hand Robusto because it would take years to try them all at my smoking pace and this is the #1 selling cigar, so why not!

I had one practically ROTT a few months ago and it was excellent, so expectations are a bit elevated. 

Burn/Construction: Just Ok.  Airy draw, more than I like.  Burn was in need of some help and some tunneling happened, but it was minor and correctable. 

First third: Loose draw is adding a bit of harshness to what are otherwise solid Partagas flavors. Spice, sweetness, nutmeg.  Pretty good, but damn the draw. 

Second third: I correct a tunnel here with the torch and it settles in to some perfection for a few minutes. Smoke is copious, flavors are on point. Coffee comes in to play with almost a mocha like flavor too. 

Final third: Youth shows here, gets a bit bitter, harsh, and duty calls so having to put it out a bit early is not too disappointing. 

Score: 87/100.  Certainly enjoyable and showing signs of potential.  I'll let these age a bit and look forward to them maturing into 90+ sticks.
