Popular Post Wilzc Posted March 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 9, 2020 One of my fav smokes from the Partagas Marca. I always have a few bundles in hand for that special threesome occasions First puffs are always a delight. Partagas through and through. Some woodiness. Some slight spices. Milk chocolate. Leather. Draw is always good on these culebras somehow. That underfilled bunching + the bends and twists that help control the airflow does the trick Second 3rd. Nothing much have changed. Still that really enjoyable Partagas flavors with clouds of smoke from an effortless (well maybe slightly resistive) draw. Some twangy Cuban hay does fleet in and out sometimes depending on how hard I push the cigar (Cuban twang comes in when puffs are taken with long intervals, otherwise a stiffer charred earth note takes its place). This cigar is meant to be enjoyed slowly as it overheats faster than a panetela. Towards the end things get darker. Earth comes to play with some burnt? leather, peppers and coffee while milk choc fades away. Final smoke time: 50 mins Final thoughts: 89-91 points. Ever reliable. Ever tasty. Not going to be the best cigar ever rolled but between the ‘artistic’ culebras and the positives it brings to the table, always a dependable companion to have in my Humidor!
