Popular Post Nico Posted February 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 8, 2020 I dryboxed the cigar for two days. It feels a little to small in my hands but also steady. The wrapper is smooth but feels a little unevean. I light up the tip with a $1 soft flame lighter and i can sense some hints of the flavor profile but I always find it hard to identify specific flavors on the tip of perfectos. When I get to the fattest area it erupts in full force of rustic cherry wood and a little cedar. After a cm or two some nuts, particularly almonds, appear but comes and goes during this first half. The cherry wood almost feels charred or something. Strange. The cigar has a very nice and intense aroma. Body is between light and medium and stay that way throughout. Burn line is completely even which surprised me because cuban perfectos have been a little problematic for me, and the cigar seemed a little lumpy. During the second half the rustic cherry wood is getting much smoother and a little sweeter. Now there’s some stuff happening here. Candy cotton makes and entrance and the almond flavor appears again. The three flavors stays all the way through until the cigar just feels done. I would describe the cigar as objectively good but the the flavors aren’t really in my wheelhouse. The handful I’ve tried over the years made me realize that this cigar just isn’t for me. Smoking time: 50 min Score: 86 6
