An old favorite to close out January, paired with a Bunnahabhain 12, one of the best entry-level official bottlings coming out of Scotland.

Once these acclimated they've been very consistent.  Very good burn, no burn issues, lots of creamy smoke.  They do vary a bit in how much of that caramel sweetness you get and this was not one of the sweeter ones in this box, but I suspect the stick was a bit dried out as I hauled it around with me in the cold all day before getting the chance to smoke it.  Even so it was packed with rich tobacco and wood notes, a bit of that dark sweetness, and just a hint of twang.  Not an all-star PLMC but still a great hour of smoking for the money.  Value in spades, 89/100.

Great review, but it seems you forgot to add pictures. My first Panetela experience was LGC MdO No. 4 at herf day with Raskol. I really enjoyed the fruitness, herbal, and smoothness of LGC MdO No. 4, as its flavour profile perfectly matched with Earl Grey tea.
