Hi all, I am travelling down to Sydney at the end of March for a holiday, can members suggest a few locations that I can go to enjoy a good cigar in friendly surroundings?

Places are unfortunately limited in Sydney due to the smoke nazi's but there are a few good spots in Sydney. Kingsleys is by far the best and easiest and most reliable place to light up in the city. It is a steakhouse with a cigar lounge in the basement. ALB and I went to Winstons the other night which is a piano bar in the Stamford Hotel in Double Bay. a few clicks out of the city in the posh eastern suburbs...I fit in quite well but ALB was way out of his league! :-D

let us know more precisely when you are in town as I would say it is a good enough reason for another Sydney FOH get together to welcome the new year and a fellow member from Qld! (unless of course you would prefer to smoke in peace and quiet away from a bunch of loudmouthed drunk bastards!)

No that sounds superb. I am driving down with the wife and we are ariving in Sydney on 27 March, should be there for about a week and a bit. Will take a short drive to Canberra, for supplies, but will spend the bulk in Sydney. We are staying with wifes aunty at Moxhams Road Northmead.

I would love a Sydney FOH get together that sounds superb, but since it is a holiday with the wife, i will need advice on diversion strategies.

Mav., if you down in Sydney let us know the dates & we will hopefully be able to get some of the crew together for a gathering.

Don't worry, if I make Sam feel uncomfortable we can head to Darling Harbour to Cohibar for a drink & smoke (bit more low-brow you know).

Mate we both know we will always fit in if there is scotch on the menu and cigar smoke in the air!

Maverick: are you spending 10 long hours in the drivers seat jumping over the border? more than enough of a reason for a few hours leave with old mates from FOH!

Nah the wife is making me split it over two sessions, first day drive down to Port Mc. then take the short hop down to Northmead from there.

I don't know if Canberra is known for anything else but fireworks and porn. However I just read on the web that Fireworks can only be purchased on the Queens Birthday Long Weekend, so thats a bit of a bummer.

I would love to get together with the gang from down there, bear in mind however that I don't have the BANK ROLL like Rob, because lets face it we give him all our cash.

I will be down from March 25 through till about April 7ish. I am taking the company car down, because I need the wagon space to fill up with Krispy Kreme boxes.

A FOH Sydney Get Together. That should also be good enough to coax our leader down to Sydney with me. He should be adequately rested from his return from Cuba, and then he can regale us with stories of amazement from Cuba.
