Popular Post HuffnPuffff Posted January 4, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 4, 2020 Early afternoon, outside in the sun, with coffee, I was excited to try this. After giving blood. I’m not sure whether giving blood is a regular pre-smoke warm up for many of you guys and girls - but I can confidently say I’m not going to build this into my pre-smoke routine. Cut, sniff, check the draw; so far so good. Toast. Puff puff puff. Holy ****! Bam! This was like a punch in the face right off the bat. It had the classic RyJ profile that people talk about - cherries and unsweetened cream, but with loads of barnyard and mongrel. I would never have guessed this was 4 and a half years old. Consistently uneven burn and a quasi-fireproof dark wrapper dripping with sheen. Absolutely beautiful looking cigar. I think I should give the rest of these a few more months acclimatising. For me it was a case of huge cigar (in terms of power and flavour), wrong time of day. I look forward to revisiting some time during the hours of darkness with a rich stout. It was a toss up whether to go for this or a 5 yr old RyJ Exhibition 4 - in hind sight, the latter would have likely served me better. Or perhaps nothing considering the blood loss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 7
