So, I was unbelievably lucky in receiving a Xmas sampler for the RELEase review weekend prize.  Obviously over the moon here, especially since I'm 0/12 on having smoked any of these.  My question to the vets around here is this - which of these cigars would you smoke first, and which would you age the longest?  Take 90 days as a given (though I feel I should smoke one on Xmas, really).  I'm assuming the Tainos, Cohibas and the QdAs will benefit from considerable aging, and maybe the SIlver Jubilee and the BBF could be good sooner.  But since I have no experience with the cigars and limited with most of the marcas, those are just guesses.

I will have a thread up tomorrow re the Christmas Sampler. People can put their tasting notes down.

No need to get stuck into them for another few weeks. God knows you can leave them until next year if you want.

If you are looking at smoking them in December/January, dry box for a few days before you fire them up.

Smoke them in the order that they appeal to you....given the circumstances that you find yourself in.

The Ramon Allones Silver Jubilee would be a great one to kick off.

Thanks, Pres!  Both for the advice and the incredibly generous prize.

I wouldn't hesitate to smoke the BBF after 30 days down plus a few dry boxing.
