Wookie Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 This was a gift and I only know the vintage. Starts out medium strength with well balanced savory character. So much better to me than some of the earlier vintage of this vitola. Seems fuller, richer. 2/3 and I’m getting some subtle vanilla/bourbon flavor I associate with a good Esplendido. Still primarily a savory experience however. Superb balance...not a bit of astringency. Final 3/3 picks up in strength a bit and starts to lose balance somewhat. Still a savory delight with subtle earth and leather overtones. I’ve really enjoyed the more recent vintages of this one, but given the price I can not recommend them. When Cohibas are good, I prefer the Esplendido as I find it to be the fullest body of the Marca. 3
