Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted November 30, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 30, 2019 I figured since this hit the 3 year mark I'd give it a go and see how it is. This is from a hq box so good quality stick. I must confess that I was engrossed in good conversation with family members so only managed to snap one pic and my attention wasn't 100% on the cigar like when I typically do reviews. The draw was perfect with just a bit of resistance but good amount of smoke per draw and a burn that only required a couple minor touch ups to alleviate my ocd. I won't break this down in thirds because...I can't. ? I wasn't paying close enough attention to do so but I do remember consistent flavors throughout. It was certainly a creamy smoke both in texture throughout and in flavor in the second half of the cigar. There was some consistent cedar and sweet spices as well as a little white pepper in flavor but no pepper tingle. The cream intensified as the cigar progressed. It was quite delicate and not really appropriate for after a big dinner though it was still quite enjoyable. I see this as more of an afternoon smoke or after a light dinner at a time when it can be given the attention it deserves with a clean palette. I can still taste the cream on my palette and I finished the cigar 3 hours ago. I give it a 91 but suspect I may have enjoyed it more in a different circumstance. I think there was some complexity I missed due to conversation and my palette having come off a turkey and pie feast. 6
