Cuban Jazz : La Zorra y el Cuervo

I was introduced to Roberto Fonseca through John De Costa back in 2017.  He and his entourage joined us at Tarara beach for a christmas BBQ a few days later.  Lovely guy, lovely people. 

He was playing at the Jazz Club, "La Zorra y el Cuervo" Thursday nights.  A red phone booth at street level leads to this intimate, subterranean lounge with live jazz bands 10pm to 2am each day. Get it early....it is small and packed most nights!

 

 

It's a pretty cool place with a great vibe.

My wife and I got to see Roberto Fonseca at LZyEC back in 2015. It was an amazing time! I'm hopeful that we'll get to do it again someday.
