Bucky McSwensen Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 This is rich. It is super enjoyable right now but has a lot of edges that should smooth out in the future. Robust coffee, a bit of honey butter on brioche. Second third gives me rich tobacco and hay. I have a couple of relight and tunneling issues which makes me wish I dry boxed this longer. Final third is very strong. Almost charcoal at times but still hints of the sweet grass notes and a bit of burnt coffee. Really enjoyed this, definitely needs more time down. Just a fancy cigar with tons of potential I value this stick at $16 Cost Ratio - 1.03 Cuba Ratio - 1.18 Comparison: Significantly fuller bodied than the older one. I can't fairly compare them as the older one was impacted by the storage in the cedar tomb. This was a great example of a young cohiba with a lot of potential. Might tuck away for 2 years before revisiting. Really excited to have it smooth out and develop but need to make sure i dont overshoot and end up with a bland one. 1 2
