leepers Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 PUNCH Petit Coronations EML February 2014 Cigar is handsome, comes in a tubo. Medium tan wrapper and on the cut was clearly a bit loose. Lit well but burnt a bit fast; we’ve all seen the foreboding where the first puffs calve off a chunk of the rim. Usually bodes poorly. The cigar was like gesso on a canvas. A background note. Undeveloped. It’s had its time to resolve to...something. This was like a modern art creation meant to encompass blankness. I smoked it in a kind of meh overall taste. As it continued, the cigar felt mushy in the hand. Like holding a baby bird but between your fingers. It was resolutely flat. As it ended, I had the distinct feeling of having smoked a poor version of the cigar but even the ideal wouldn’t have appealed to me. I find the blend, under filled here, uninspired and a dullard. I’ve never had it before. Would doubt I’d have it again. Leepers 2
