Popular Post havanaclub Posted October 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 15, 2019 The first one I had ROTT was very good, so I was excited to see how this would stand up after some time down. This is exactly one year old. This one was no exception, it was outstanding. The cold aroma was intoxicating. I get this sweet tobacco with spice, something I always seem to get with all dips. The draw was excellent, and the burn was even. 1st: sweet, sweet, sweet. I can’t honestly pinpoint a specific comparison. Maybe sweet bell peppers? Also found a very nice doughy flavour. The aroma coming off the foot was intoxicating. 2nd: the sweetness became richer, medium body, medium strength. Honey, some nutmeg spice and leather. 3rd: the sweetness didn’t let up much at all, I was pleased about that. Towards the end, I picked up more baking type spice. I really didn’t want the cigar to end. And began thinking, I only have 8 of these left. This is an excellent example of the Diplomaticos marca imo and really tells me they are really in my wheelhouse as I have had similar experiences with the No2. I have had a few of the Canadian regional Nortenos and while they are great too, this one is better imo. Rated 96. Easy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 9
ChanceSchmerr Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Very nice! By chance, @Onsto and I shared a few cigars last weekend, and followed up an ethereal OR Cohiba BHK 54 with Diplo Ammos that I brought back from Dubai. We both agreed the BHK was phenomenal, but the Ammo was right there with it, loads of flavour and character. I'm glad to have a few left of these too! Phoenicia nails another one! 3
