Popular Post Silverstix Posted October 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2019 Well wouldn’t ya know it, the cigar I pull out to smoke and review for the Old Faithful review turns out to be a complete wind tunnel. Go figure huh?? Lol The Bolivar Coronas Junior, along with the Party Shorts, SCDH Principe, and BPC are really consistently great. Big fan of the small format cigars. I went with the BCJ because the Bolivars are my favorite marca. The BCJ typically gives me a real strong hit of clean tobacco, earthy mushrooms with a dark sweetness, and some dark roasted black coffee. All topped off with a pinch of some spice on the retrohale and the finish. Delivered in a solid 45 minutes, I can often stretch the BCJ and other minutos and marevas for an hour of smoking enjoyment. Unfortunately this example was not one of my finer experiences. When I picked this one out I actually feared it was overfilled and would be a tight draw. It was exactly the opposite, burning way too fast and hot no matter how slow I sipped it. But that’s the name of the game, gotta share the bad stories and the good stories! Overall I’d give this cigar a 6/10. BCJ in general is an 8.5/10 for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 6
Akela3rd Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Unfortunate. I don't think I've had a bad one of these yet. Totally agree on the Minutos being a great size.Sent from 47171 Lempo
