I received this box not too long ago from prez on clearance Monday. The wrappers are beautiful, Colorado, smooth with slight sheen. What a deal!!

This sample was fairly ROTT, only about 4 days in my dry humidor at 60rH.

 

 

1st: started a little rough/harsh with notes of chocolate which seemed dry. Floral notes started to pick up.

 

2nd: fruity notes started to emerge with leather and cocoa.

 

3rd: fruity and started to get sweeter. I can see where Rob mentions berries. But this was muted and bitter towards the end.

 

I chalk this down to the cigar being young and rott and slightly underfilled. I always take the worst constructed cigar of the box first for this purpose. All in all I wasn’t disappointed with the cigar, but know these will shine in 6-12 months.
