If it is in their terms of service to not allow the selling of tobacco or alcohol, that is not a restriction on free speech, that is simply their policy. Companies can serve whatever terms they want, so long as they comply with state and federal laws. It IS a restriction on free speech. Maybe a legally permissible restriction, but a restriction nonetheless. And a particularly odious one given the company's history. C'mon now Texas where's that rebel spirit. King George or King Zuck it's all the same. 1

If you hit the ACCEPT button when opening a FB account without reading all of the long tedious legal jargain they WANT you to bypass and design it so you don't read through all of it, you have indeed ACCEPTED their terms whether you like them or not. It is a little like having a Brown Snake as a pet...............and expressing surprise when one day he bites you. 1
KnightsAnole Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 As it turns out, these guys didn’t read the terms of service either... 1 1

Whether you think they infringe on the 1st Ammendment or not, you accepted their terms when you created a FB account. You want to fight them, shut down your account. I think FB will be obsolete inside of 10 years, the younger generation right now does not have FB accounts, it's getting to be dinosaur status. And flippers trying to to get double for a box of Punch La Islas when a very reliable site that has a list of CUC prices on the island has the CUC price of them at 115, and try to sell them for 225 USD, or selling La Trovas for double what was paid on the island, I'm okay with that sh!t getting shut down. Getting rid of flippers benefits us all in the long run. Don't Tread on Me . . . Unless It's In Your Terms of Service?

I got rid of my Twitter account years ago for this reason, don't have Snapchat, and both my wife and I are on FB less and less, we've even talked about closing those accounts because they are becoming less useful and just a time suck. I've got better things to do than spend hours on FB. The only way you're going to impact FB, Twitter, Sanpchat, etc, is by NOT having an account. NOT by bitching about their terms of service YOU AGREED TO. It's really simple. Not sure where your disconnect is...... I was being tongue-in-cheek. Hence the little laughing guy. " " You're saying Love it Or Leave It. That's certainly one form of freedom, heard throughout the ages. Some may say it amounts to freedom . . . to hide in a cave. Sure you can leave The Zucc alone. But will The Zucc leave YOU alone?
