Popular Post FatPete Posted June 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 1, 2019 SLR Regio- ORG ABR 17 (PE from FOH) Humidor at 66RH dry boxed overnight This hermosos No. 4 is nearly a Robusto, with a 48 RG and 5" length. Prelight: Sweet tobacco smell Nice smooth wrapper, construction appears good. Band slides easily V-cut gave nice sweet tobacco draw First Third: Burns nicely Bready, sweet & smooth. The bread is the kind of white bread made with lots of yeast. A scent of aromatic wood fills the air. Some almond towards the end, combined with the bread made it a bit like a Bakewell tart, minus the jam. Mild, very smooth. Second third: All bread, with a hint of white pepper Last third: Sweetness goes, though is still creamy. Mainly tobacco with a little white pepper, still smooth & like that to the end. Burn was perfect, although I started with black trousers, now they are grey as the ash was very flakey. Took just over an hour to smoke. Conclusion: A nice to try a cigar to try if you want a change from the coffee/cocoa/earthy/woody cigars. I loved the Bakewell tart profile of the first third, and it's overall sweetness, mildness and creamy texture. 8/10 5
