Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted May 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 20, 2019 A single from a pair allocated from the store. Both had Consistent impressions. Humidor @ 65% RH 70F. Construction and wrapper excellent. Draw a bit firm but smoke density is adequate. No touch ups through entire smoke. 1/3 opens with strong coffee, leather, toasted tobacco notes. Maybe some Brazil nuts and a touch of Black pepper. A bit of sweetness after initial light drops into the core flavors. Baked Cocoa in background now. Mild to medium. Burn is quite good. 2/3: Ash is firm and grayish black. It holds the entire ash by thirds only forceful tipping separates the spent ends. Delicious. Cigar has a nice slow burn to it. No rush here. All core flavors remain and not much change. 3/3: A hint int of bitters after band is off. Quite normal for a young example. The core flavors intensify and the smoke gets a bit hot. Medium + at the finish. Overall a very enjoyable smoke for a young example of this marca. I was impressed by the construction quality of this cigar. My impression of balance in this flavor profile was foremost. I will put a box of these down for sleep but i would smoke another fresh one tomorrow. Can you see my dilemma? A solid 90 right now. 6
