Popular Post irratebass Posted May 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2019 This cigar was gifted to me, so I do not have the box code, but the owner was generous to let me know it is from 2016. This is is the first time smoking this size, I have seen quite a bit of love for these lately, and was excited to see this pop up this weekend. Inspection This has a milk chocolate brown wrapper which is a bit toothy with some veins & seams, and seems to be very firmly packed. Aromas On the body I pick up cedar and cinnamon, on the foot I mostly get cinnamon toast.....wow!!! Pre-Light Draw Decided to use the punch on this big bad boy, and right away I am greeted a really unique sweetness that I can't quite pinpoint........wintergreen maybe? 1/3 Right out of the gate I get this heavenly sweet gingerbread flavors that morph into cinnamon and some baking spices.....fantastic! 2/3 The flavors stay about the same, but a bit of cedar wood flavors seem to sweep in. 3/3 The gingerbread has returned along with some white pepper to really round this smoking experience out. Draw Very nice open draw, I give credit to the punch Burn Damn near perfect Construction Quite excellent really it was packed to the gills, but it performed beautifully, and gave me about an inch to an inch & 1/2 of ash with each third. Overall I loved this cigar!!!! Now I never considered myself to be a Trinidad fan, every one I have had (Reyes & 1 Funadore from 2014) were just meh to me, and I never could get people's love for this marca, but after smoking this one I GET IT!!!!!!!!!!! I can definitely see me investing in these.....I may have to set them down a couple of years, but the payout is worth it imo. This was an absolute flavor bomb with wintergreen, gingerbread, cinnamon and baking spices 10/10 smoking time was 120 mins. Sorry I only got one pic, was too busy smoking this beauty, and I forgot to snap more. 6
Raskol Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Vigias are great cigars given 3 years & above in my opinion. One of my favorites... Great review! Thank you. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk 2
David88 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Great review. I was sceptical about these but was absolutely blown away by them, Magnum 54s are a similar size and great too. 1
