San Cristobal de la Habana El Principe 2015 (SSTRW)

Was very excited when I heard we were reviewing these marques. I had a difficult time deciding what to review. I was wanting something short and sweet so I went for an El Principe. The wrapper had a nice sheen. I used a punch cut. The cold draw I got some hints of sweetness.

 

The first third was full of mild sweetness. I was hoping for a more stronger taste but it wasn't a turn off. Was just hoping for more.

 

The second third was filled with more of the same. It kicked up a bit in strength as well. The sweetness kind of faded to more of a toasted tobacco.

 

The last third was kind of harsh. I think I may have got it a little hot. It didnt seem to change a whole lot. I wish it wouldn't have lost its sweetness but a decent smoke. A very decent smoke. The burn was pretty good. I will give it an 86 out of 100.

I enjoy them more than the Monte 4. But that’s just me. Love those little things!
