Popular Post Cigar_83 Posted May 5, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 5, 2019 Hi gents, This is my first official review and although I wouldn't say I have an experienced pallet I'll give it a go. Cigar - San Cristobal - La Fuerza. First 3rd - I instantly got a sweet taste which reminded me of brown sugar. It was very pleasant and paired rather nicely with my espresso. Second 3rd - I got a little spice note, slight tingle on the lips which faded rather quickly. It then transitioned into a sweet cream flavour which I thoroughly enjoyed. Im a sweets kinda person so I'm not sure if that tends to dominate my pallet. I found sipping the espresso would 'reset' my pallet. Final 3rd - throughout the cigar I had no issue with draw/pull it really was effortless. I found a little of the spice was begging to return as the tingle lip feeling was evident although slightly. Near the stub it transitioned to bitterness I couldn't quite grasp what exactly but almost like a licorice. At this point it was the end, overall duration appox 50minutes took my time with this. Rating out of 100 - construction 75 - flavour profile 80 - flavour transitions 83- pull/ draw 80 Overall a solid 85 Really enjoyed this one and will gravitate to it again. Cheers.
