This was gifted to me by a BOTL, he didn't have the box code, but told me it was from 2017. Now the noob in me didn't know that RyJ made a PC.

This was a very nice looking cigar, it seemed to have a small box press to it. The wrapper ha d a very nice bown color to it with plenty of visible seams and veins.

I decided to punch it and I got a pretty good draw out of it, so let's being.

1/3

I forgot to cold draw it, so apologies. Right away I am met with graham cracker, peanut butter and floral on the finish to round it out nicely.

The burn has become uneven and in turn this causes the draw to close up on me a bit.

2/3

I corrected the burn and the draw opened up....*woot!* I am now getting more cinnamon flavors along with that graham cracker flavor and even now getting some caramel flavors on my palate. Draw is open, but the burn has decided to no cooperate again.

3/3

The cigar continues to wow me with the flavors......no new flavors, but the flavors I am getting are really giving me a wonderful smoking experience.

Burn

Well despite the unevenness in the burn the cigar preformed well in the flavor department, so I can't really complain.

Draw

Closed up on me, but then opened up with plenty of smoke output, so again can't complain.

Construction

Despite the burn and the draw closing then opening there were no other issues. Plenty of smoke out put and gave me about a 1/4 of inch of ash each time, and it never went out on me.

Overall

This was a great smoke. I had written off RyJ's due to the fact that I bought a box of Cazzie's that just didn't do it for me, and ended up selling half the box, but this PC & the RC I had on my bday have started turning me around on them. I would  easily buy a box of these, sample them every 3 months or so and see how they progress.

This cigar was quite delicious. Plenty of graham cracker, cinnamon and even a bit of peanut butter and caramel to round it out. I really can't say anything bad about this cigar, except for the uneven burn.

87/100

Smoking time 90 mins

I am working my way through a box of '15s (about one per week) and I get the same burn issues 70-80% of the time. I usually get a very generous smoke output, which is nice. Your experience seems to mirror mine thus far. Great cigars as I'm not usually an RyJ guy myself, but one per weeks is nice to have something different. Most of mine have been mid to high 80s experiences as well. I am more than halfway through the box and I had one so far that was easily a 92 or 93 pointer. Absolutely stellar. I hope to find another one in here somewhere.
