1 month till FOH Fishing Derby....prefishing time!

Made it out on Lake Ontario today. Was chilly with air temps hovering around 0C this Am, warming to 7C by afternoon. Water temps were approx 4C for most of the day.

 

 

after the sun warmed up the water a bit, I was able to get an afternoon bite. A nice Rainbow Trout for the first fish of 2019. Great first outing of the year.

 

 

and a treat to enjoy while on the water.
