Popular Post irratebass
Sorry I do not know the box code, or the actual date. This was a Christmas gift from an older BOTL, it was given to me in 2015, so it has at least 3-4yrs of age on it, This cigar looks incredible, has the old band, it's filled to the gills. I didn't notice any veins but the wrapper was a bit toothy. Cold draw I pick up cinnamon, bread, salt, nutmeg, and a bit of a holiday cookie flavor.....it's very nice. 1/3 Right away I get a mustiness along with a bit of cream and more of that cookie flavor. The cigar has mellowed quite a bit. Still getting the cookie and cinnamon, but a little bit more wood is starting to peep it's head in., Even though I'm getting wood the strength has not ramped up, it's staying at a mild/medium, but more mild. 2/3 Flavors are staying consistent, no real changes, strength is also the same. 3/3 Getting a bit of licorice and some honey mixed in with the cinnamon and wood...very nice, too bad the honey didn't appear until now. The draw was bit tight for my liking, but I didn't correct it since I was reviewing it. I really didn't have any issues with the burn, the ash fell off in four 1/4 inch chunks. There was plenty of smoke as well (something I really enjoy). Construction was top notch. Overall I really enjoyed the cigar, it was a bit too mild for me, but I think with the flavors of wood, cinnamon, licorice, honey, cream and that holiday cookie flavor this cigar would pair nicely with a great cup of coffee in the morning. Overall rating I would say an 88.Smoking time was just over 120 mins. Thanks for the contest FOH!
