Popular Post prodigy
This cigar was part of a PIF I received. I have only been convinced on hype alone to buy certain ER releases. This one was a giant smoke, coming in at 7" x 54 rg. I was very excited to try it and what better time than for a review competition, where the prize of winning is my favorite smoke at the moment, the BPC. The draw was on the firm side. Not too firm as to reach for the perfecdraw, I hoped it would open up on it's own once I burned through some of the 7". The flavors we're very mild and muted. I can't find anything that screams "Bolivar". I am not saying this cigar is bad, but it's not blowing me away at all. There is no DNA that would make me guess it's a Bolivar. It's extremely mild. Very muted flavors, mostly hay, peanuts, some citrus but it's taking way too much effort to try and find the flavor. Nothing is jumping out. When I removed the ER Belux band, it was glued to the wrapper. This caused severe damage to the cigar, but I kept smoking anyway. There was no way it could get any worse. Overall I think that I either received a dud, or this cigar is just nothing special. I'd rather have a BPC or BRC...
