RDB Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 From an MSU DIC 17 box, which has been reliably good. Nice appearance: colorado maduro, fine visual contruction and sheen. Tight draw though. Not impossible, and a firm pull gives an even burn. Classic Bolivar flavours: oatmeal stout, liquorice, warm yeasty bread. Some milky coffee but nothing harsh or peppery. Medium body but rich and full of flavour. Then about a third of the way in, I give it a little massage to help the draw... and I split the damn wrapper. And then I have an exploding cigar. Miraculously, it keeps burning fine, but now I have a comedy clown cigar on my hands, bursting open in a big flower of ash and embers. Despite this it’s a pleasant smoke right down to the last inch and a bit. I love Bolivar! Whoops: ah well, made it anyway... 3 1
KING BROWN Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 I have MSU Nov 17, which is magnificent in it's consistency, regarding construction ..... every stick is way too tight. ( in a fit of disappointment I began a search of the box to find something acceptable - ended up clipping the entire box ! )
