Derboesekoenig Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Situated between France and Spain, Andorra is a country with a population of less than 100k, and yet has an astounding 7 Edicion Regionals since 2009. I've been waiting for the right time to smoke this one, but no time like the present--it's been sitting long enough. After reading Halfwheel's review earlier this year, I had a different experience. This is a 2017 release, but wasn't seen until well into 2018, as per usual with many ERs. This is the first ER from Bolivar released for Andorra, and is a petit robusto. I'm not usually a fan of the short fatties, but this one surprised me. I am, however, a huge fan of Bolivar in general, and this lived up to the marca. Cold draw aroma: grassy, hay, with a slight hint of cedar, a little pepper. Typical Bolivar flavors throughout, stayed the same until the very end, where it kicked up a notch, and this is where it showed its young age. Very enjoyable cigar, lasted right between 55 minutes and 1 hour for me. Did not ash until it was nearing the nub, the last 5-10 minutes of smoking. I will revisit sometime in the next 2-4 years to see if things have improved. P.S.- forgot to take pictures, my apologies. 1
Piligrim Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 pretty strong cigar, still a lot of ammonia. but very promising for me, great aging potential.
