Kitchen Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 So I am heading to Long Island tomorrow for a project on Thursday and will be staying at Danfords. I took a look at the hotel restaurant menu and it appears they are cigar friendly, plus it's restaurant week. Anyone ever been? How is it? To be honest, I would love to sit outside at a marina bar and relax with a Churchill tomorrow.
Silverstix Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Hm, where are you seeing that they are cigar friendly? I got married there 2 years ago, the wife and I go up there every few months. Food is good, it’s an old school type of feel with the whole fishing village thing going on. I do know that by the bar area they have a small glass desktop humidor with some overpriced Padrons in it. Definitely no smoking inside the place, but I’m sure you can smoke out on the dock with no issues. If you have a room that has a balcony you should be able to smoke there too. Especially this time of year when it’s their offseason There is also a cigar lounge in town, a 5 minute walk or so, called Flame Fine Cigars. And be sure to hit up Port Jeff Brewery right there in town, also less than a 5 minute walk. Port Jeff is a great little village with lots of shops, food, and drink to be had. Enjoy, hope you have good weather.
