These were my first full box of regionals I bought for myself and there are only 2 left, 1 after tonight.

Beautiful wrapper soft and almost velvety to the touch. Cold draw is a little tight but will hopefully open up.

Getting into the first 3rd and the draw started a little tight and body was mild for sure but rich milk chocolate  was the first flavor on the scene followed by some minerality. The draw opened up to just the right amount of resistance and more smoke taking the body up a little closer to medium but still on the mild side. Flavors are consistent with a little white pepper on the retrohale. Burn is sharp.

Into the second 3rd and the milk chocolate has gone but a toffee like sweetness is present with the minerality and toasted tobacco on the finish. The white pepper died down on the retrohale and some floral notes are present. Burn is still sharp and aroma is intoxicating. 

Final 3rd continued to showcase the minerality and toasted tobacco with an underlying sweetness. Retrohale is floral and burn mostly sharp with 1 correction. Aroma was fantastic throughout.

This is a mild, nuanced and fantastic smoke that has a very different flavor profile from all the Habanos that I've smoked this far. Wish I had more.? I give it a 94 rating.

Definitely my favorite cigar of 2015 that stinks out in my mind.   Not only in terms of enjoyment, but also value. While everyone was searching for the Excellencias, after I got a couple of the Cuba RE, I went SUPER deep with the grossly underrated (at the time), kick yourself in the behind for not picking up more that a box while you could (if any at all). “El Embajador” Paises Bajo RE ?
