Popular Post HarveyBoulevard Posted October 29, 2018 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2018 This was a very special Talisman Churchill size release. It only came in seconds and thirds. The first third tasted like molasses and 6 month old baby seal. Second third switched to syrup and a much more mature seal, probably more like a sea lion. Last third showed its youth and tasted more like a fat old walrus. Construction was excellent and burn was spot-on. The only part I couldn't figure out is why it had an RyJ on it. Must have been the rollers initials. 4 6
Toast & Taste Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I prefer to age my seals at least 5 years. Unless, of course, you can find a younger one with Plume. Not to derail - but how do you deal with molasses beetles? Big Al 1
HarveyBoulevard Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 Empirical data shows that molasses Beatles Don't hatch unless the ambient temperature rises above 113.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Unlike their Tobacco beetle counterparts, they like it extra hot. I find that the Molasses Beatles eggs add to that overall seal flavor.
Islandboy Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Nice review! I recently picked up a bundle of those from a trusted....um....compadre. I just knew it was something super special. Can’t wait to try one
Derboesekoenig Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I don't understand. Seconds and thirds?
