queensland won the origin game and england have been dumped out of the soccer. the world has felt out of kilter but no longer (the gunners continue to sign over-hyped 19 year olds, the wallabies continue to look ever less likely, reds fans are still whinging that we dumped the idiots brigade and the skins are convinced the glory days are just around the corner).

so all back to normal.

indeed. a bit of a surprise given how easily he broncos disposed of them. 

it gets serious now, post origin. can't see broncos making top four which will kill their chances. never write off the storm. think the dragons are cooked. souths do look good. not sure the panthers are quite good enough to go through the semis without going down once. roosters, with their salary sombrero, will be very hard to stop. warriors and sharks to make up the numbers.
