Good morning guys!

Im a 23 year old recent uni graduate who absolutely loves cigars. I started smoking at the age of 15 but really it was machine made garbage and whatever else I could get my hands on. However 3 years ago I made my purchase of a humidor and really got into the cigar world. Since then I have smoked over a 100 diff brands and I was actually just mentioning this to a friend, i have narrowed down 3-4 brands of non cubans I would like to smoke and then I just want to spend all my hard earned money on cubans. I was introduced to cubans a year and a half ago and before I really didn't see the difference because I didn't understand how age affects them. But again, after smoking 100s of sticks, I obviously know my profile.

Im part of various cigar groups several of whose members I see here so that's always great! But as part of my newbie intro I'll say it straight my goal here is to learn as much as I can and if possible source out some cigars. Initially when i got into cubans I spent months researching several cigar vendors and ordered 3 times in total , 2 of which were fakes (and one of them got taxed heavily too) and the third box was extremely extremely horrible cigars. I actually almost cried the third time lol cuz it was just too much to bear. Now my primary source of cubans is auctions and private sellers and whatever good deals I can get.

I'll say it honestly, I am not a cigar collector and never will be. I am unfortunately a man of habit. If i like certain brands or certain flavor profiles of cigars, that's all I will ever smoke: So regular productions Dip 2s, E2s, D4s. P2s, Connie A, Mag 54, Wide churchills, Regular churchills, CoRos and if I can some fundaroes (mostly singles cuz i cant' afford fundi boxes lol). BUT ofc there some very very good limited editions that come out and if I can afford and buy some vintage cigars is what I like to buy.

So I obviously know true cigar collectors/aficionados don't rely on only one source because they want to collect certain limited editions and have a "collection". Like I mentioned, I am a smoker mostly so I'm not trying to come off rude but tat the same time I don't want to beat around the bush: I hope to learn from you all as to how to determine what is smoking well for each year so I have good stock of cubans to smoke instead of age (albeit sometimes I might boxes too age but again, not looking for some ultra rare cigars, just whatever I have written in bold) AND obviously hope to know where and how to buy cubans from this site without really getting fucked over lol.

Sorry for such a long first post, but of course I was worried and shy if this was actually a legit place/the final place where I don't have to worry about the quality or authenticity of cigars hahah!

There was a gentleman who made a post about his first purchase and he said he was gun shy, I totally what you get brother, I've had 3 purchases go horribly horribly wrong, I actually didn't even want to bother trying another site but this feels like not just a store but a family of great BOTLs and SOTLs!

If anyone wishes to PM me about info or wants to know the vendors I ordered from so they can avoid it, feel free, lol! Hope to be a contributing member on this group.

Regards,
