Cigar oasis/hydra fan mod

So I picked up a Cigar Oasis XL to replace my excel in the larger humidor. Also picked up a small hydra fan kit to mod into the Cigar Oasis. I peeled off the plastic tab on the Oasis ribbon and matched it up with the Hydra power ribbon and both have power, great!  Only thing is the hydra fan continues to run non stop even when the Oasis stops after reaching set humidity. 

Am I missing something or is this now the mod works?

That is how it works.

You may get about 48 hours of instability of RH. I did, but now it is tighter than before.

Mine is in a New-Air 300, on the bottom level.
