...and the options for cigars was weak. I’m so glad I brought a good bit of my own with me. H. Up 1/2 Coronas were a nice reprieve if it was slow while on the ol night shift, and the RyJ Belicosos from 2007 were an awesome treat on the off days. 

Casa Habanos over in the pearl (think version of palm in Dubai) was nice once the weather was better, but prices were trumped up. I did get to try all the LCDHs I’ve been lusting after and was able to get a decent price on the Ramon allones. I didn’t expect to enjoy these as much as I did. 

Overall not a bad lil trip. Busier than the last time I was in that area of the world. Came home and have a trip booked for Ireland and Northern Ireland in September with just me and the wife (no kids!). Very excited to spend 8 days in a country nothing like the penesula. Sure, woulda loved to of done it sooner upon return, but lots of factors just made that not an option   

Anyways, home now and time to get my humidor with no room in it smoked down a bit so I can partake in some 24:24 now that I’m back!

Where’d you go?  I went after the last deployment and loved it. We were in western/southern part of country. This time it’s dublin, Belfast, Derry, donegal and Cavan. So total opposite end of the island.
