Jimmy_jack Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I'm bearded now but use a safety razor with blue feather Japanese razors. I'll never be a cartridge man again.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk 1
Fuzz Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Shaving? Is that what those things are for? I thought I was just stocking up for when I go Sweeney Todd on somebody.....
IanMcLean68 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I stopped shaving a couple of years ago and my skin has thanked me for it. Every month or so I take the beard off down to a "number 1" with an electric beard/hair trimmer.

Shavettes with regular Double Edge blades as that Angle Razor provide, in my experience, for very poor wetshaving experiences, and somewhat dangerous ones at that, as the blade is too thin and flimsy. The type of Single Edge blade that the Feather Artist (and the Kai Captain) uses makes for a very smooth and efficient shave, actually more so then most modern straight razors, IMO, specially when paired with a proper shaving cream or soap. Everyone that shaves regularly really should try wetshaving for a month or so, just enough to get the hang of it and be able to get a proper shave. Trust me, your skin will thank you immensely for it, and shaving may actually stop being a chore and be something you look forward to. 1
