1st third: coffee and caramel. Not as sweet tasting as the others I had sampled from this box.

2nd third: tea and floral notes.  Very rough around the edges.

Last third: straight mongrel.

Recently I asked Steve Saka how he keeps his cigar lines from being consistent year to year.  He replied that not just year to year, but cigar to cigar, leaf to leaf, it’s hard to maintain consistency and that was the battle many in his line of work are tasked with.  This was a good example of inconsistency.  Flavors were muted and inconsistent (except for the mongrel) from the others I had smoked. At least the burn was good.
