Today I took refuge from the bitter cold into the lounge and decided to take an Esplendido.0917AE40-D986-4488-968E-AF77B36A4951.thumb.jpeg.1fcd848d0c651471aed3fe9144198ac5.jpeg

First third: Grassy very muted

Second third. Hint of citrus, grass, and bread.

Last third: baking spice and citrus

Good burn and my hands stayed nice and toasty so that was nice.C8945191-D5ED-4E4B-92C9-D1079826EA1D.thumb.jpeg.ffacd632b5e6da31606318bcd35cfa1e.jpeg

It was a free admissions for residents day at the local art museum...closest cigar related art I could find. One of the most iconic, nighthawks.

Probably thinking how that esplendido could be so muted and quite bland.  I did taste the grass and citrus but I had to look hard to find them.

Thanks for the review. The Esplendido is the only Cohiba I've had that I truly enjoy, but I've never smoked one younger than 3 years. In my experience, at 5 years they start to develop, and they keep improving past 10 years. But bear in mind I'm not a fan of Cohiba, so my views may be slanted.
