Stump89 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Happy Thanksgiving all. I have a few of these and haven't gotten around to trying them. Got a couple from a friend last year. The Punch Sir John is a German Regional released in 2012. Very light wrapper on this one. Not a whole lot on the cold aroma and cold draw, although the draw is pretty loose. I was instantly put off when I lit this cigar. Started very bitter. After about 10 minutes or so it really opened up. Strong cedar wood with a hint of nice spice through the nose. 2nd third has the cedar note fade out and the spice takes over. It's a nice nutmeg/cinnamon baking spice flavor. There is also a honey and graham cracker note through the nose. Final 3rd has more of the graham cracker note take over and some of the wood note returns. This turned out to be one of the better smokes I've had in a while. The changes in flavor throughout was impressive. A fitting end for Thanksgiving. Hope everyone else out there had a great one! 3
