Finally smoked a few out of the same box code and no doubt--RASCC is back. Medium and a bit on the stronger side, very flavorful, excellent construction. All RASCC fans should be stocking up on this mid-16 production. Scoring these 92/93 points with room to improve.

Great to hear.  I just ordered a box of Gigantes, so I need a box or two of the little guys in my humidor for quicker smokes.

Agree, but I must say I have never observed said quality "dimple" there. Smoking pretty much of '13 and '15 production and been literally never let down by any RASCC.

Smoked through several boxes of late 13 and early 14 ULA, EML codes and they were almost all dog rockets. I mean the worst RASCC I've ever had by far box after box. Heard a few others echo that as well. I just think it was a bad run. I wanted to get some space from early 13 and 14 but I can't recall seeing much in the way of 15 production and 16 production wasn't really popping up until about 6 months ago. 

I think we can chalk it up to an isolated bad batch from late 13 and early 14. These have been one of--if not the--most reliable cigars for me over the last 10+ years.

Interesting. I haven't had much of '14 production, but probably simply because I didn't come across any/many (may be there is a reason?!?). So, perhaps that is where that "dimple" is and I just got lucky. But those '13 and '15 boxes (and I'd been stocking up a couple of times in a sale), are above any reproach.

I had been hearing good things about 13s at the time, so I think it was really between Nov 13 and Mar 14 that the problems lie. Again, I've heard more than one similar opinion....in fact after looking here's some:
