I picked these acrilic paintings for next to nothing from a Cuban cleaning lady. It appears that this guy has a presence in some art galleries He was supposed to be from Cuba but that may not be correct. Does anyone here have any knowledge in this area Comments an information are appreciated

I'll jump in here. I'll preface by saying I am not a huge art guy or Britto guy. But if you live in Miami (as I do) you're literally surrounded by Britto. He must be one of the most famous/prolific latin artists alive. He is Brazilian by the way, though his style is known as cubism. May be a source of the confusion. They have an entire Britto store at Miami Int'l airport to give you a sense of how big this guy is. The town next to me have Britto sculptures lining the median on the main drag through town. No idea if those are real from looking but I believe an original Britto acrylic would start in the five figure zipcode.

My neighbor has a bunch of original Brittos, I can show him the pic when I see him and see what he says.

This guy is zillionaire.

IMO his pieces arent worth what people pay for.

If you got for almost nothing or they are a reproduction or they are stolen.

The signatures look real.
