kuma Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Not against american football do like the game at the college (NCAA) level but the pro.'s have become a forum for what ever suits thier fancy. Plus to many damn interuptions for selling anything and everything. Still don't understand how the pro.'s can protest anything without their union approval. I belong to a union (collective Bargin. For) we can't do anything without a vote by members. It is the company vs union and the benefits we have fought for and gained / lost is as ONE. I and some of my mates can not go in front of the bosses office and gather as a group and take a knee or hold hands and sing "kom by Ya" without the union being involved. Yes union(s) have good and bad points. If I want to work late to finish a job, I can't. My union brothers and sisters would be on my case in a flash. Union = no creativity the down side, my benefits on the other hand which don't or can't match Frances or the German bennies but I am protected from certain bad and unfair company practices by the company. Not sure where american football is heading (scrape heap, doo doo bird) but if they do not stop the antics and get back to just "playing ball" and finding a way to fix the "head injuries, plastic helments) they will just be a shell of themselves. People will not pay good money to watch a product that could end up being like boxing or WWE antics. This does not even take into account the legal and insurance matters with the head injuries! Anyway I got off track a bit but who among us are watching CHE vs MC on the tele. today. I started really enjoying the "other" fuzz ball and have come to enjoy the pace of play. No commericals until halftime, no instant replay and thank god(s) not having to watch a game for 3 or 4 hours. Love the flags in the stands, love the camera shots of people in the stands (can't do that in america) and above all love the passion of the crowds that support the teams. I'm blessed with being able to watch EPL or UEFEA cup / FIFA not to mention the Mexican League or american pro. soccer (don't care much for them) which are a few steps below most of the other leagues around the world. I need the BEIN channel to watch French, Spanish or Italian league games. Score CHE vs MC half time 0 - 0.........CAO
