Damn, thanks for posting this El Pres, US showed NOTHING concerning Cuba, I felt it was insulting, got very little coverage on St. Thomas and other islands, but they did show some.

Seems the major impact was east of Havana though some flooding and other damage occurred in the Capital. They got lucky as the storm veered north though Key West then took the brunt of it.

Hope all in Cuba and everywhere else impacted are safe and recover quickly.

Had a tree crash through a neighbor's house last night, just heavy rain, strong winds and a lot of debris for us. Lost power briefly and comms a little longer. Pretty intense storm to make it to north Georgia with quite some strength left!

We'll see what we can bring down to help when we go in November.

Those poor people.  Any chance Cube gov. will loosen the purse strings and help re-build and help these

They say, "no one will be left uncared for", or something to that effect.

The problem is...there's no purse strings, so to speak.

The purse has one string.  It's too short to do anything with.  And all the money is long gone or otherwise just not there.
