I will buy maybe extra boxes from no 2.

Any suggestions about best quality  boxcode 16 or 17?

I really don't pay attention to box code.  Rob is great about identifying good wrappers, construction, aroma.  Those would be my personal indicators for buying fresh boxes.

Now, looking backwards I might note a date/code I had in the past and recall how good/bad they were and base (to a degree) aged stock purchases on the information, but you'll get widely differing opinion and results. For instance I have two sticks left of a box of RASCC from UTE 13 that I will miss terribly when they're gone, but I recall distinctly another memer saying the same code/year box he had was near unsmokeable.  Disappointing to be sure.
