prodigy Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Im a college student going to Virginia Tech. Im a marine corps vet, and i love cigars. Im just now getting into the Cuban world of cigars. Ill be posting pretty regularly to meet new people and learn as much as i can. I started smoking cigars regularly back in march. I started with a cheap 50 count humidor, then a daniel marshall 125 count. Those filled up within a week, so i found 2 very nice vintage dunhill humidors on ebay. one is probably 250 count, the other a 400 count. Around the time i started smoking cigars, i joined the local cigar bar. the membership included a locker, and now thats full too. I will be looking to build my own cabinet in the next year. I have a decent collection, but its mostly all non cubans. My first box arrived today, Partegas serie D #4. They dont look spectacular, but better than some of the horror stories ive read about. They are currently in the freezer, for probably the next week+. I also was able to get in on yesterdays 24:24, so i have a box of bolivar royal coronas coming this way soon too. So far everything ive researched on this site leads me to believe ill fit right in! Ill post pics of my humidors later tonight when im off of work. Kyle 1
prodigy Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 Here's my humidors. Next step is a cabinet, but will likely be a year or more because I don't have the space in the house I'm renting. Does anyone know anything about these dunhill humidors? They apparently are vintage, and cost a lot of money when new. I got both of them relatively cheap! The Daniel marshal is now a dedicated CC only humidor. Part of me is so happy I found this forum, but my wallet and my wife are not so excited!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

prodigy Posted June 30, 2017 Author Posted June 30, 2017 Welcome to FOH! Enjoy all things in moderation, and in good health.I will do my best. Ive been averaging a cigar a day or more for at least a month. It's hard to slow down when they are just so darn delicious! And I don't know how I'm going to age these CC's, I want to sample them all as soon as i smell them! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
