However, I got more "serious" about smoking in the past year, and have made some awesome friends locally in the North Dallas area! While I have been on other cigar forums for many years, I am new to this forum. I've been a "lurker" for a bit, but I have resolved to become more active, as this is a truly wonderful community and resource to learn about our shared passion and connect with fellow enthusiasts. I look forward to getting to know many of you in the future, and learning from the wealth of experience and knowledge here!

If you're new to such cigars, I suggest grabbing a sampler or two, to begin your journey. Otherwise... I think I saw you reply to the 24:24 guide thread, which is the natural next step. Welcome! 1

What I mean by " Serious" is actually taking the time to learn about the brands, my preferences, the history, and identifying flavors, versus just smoking whatever random cigars I come across. I can recall a time that I thought I was cool because I smoked a "Cuban" cigar but couldn't tell you the brand, vitola, or what I liked about it. I don't wanna be that guy anymore! Lol 1
