Hello BOTL! I have been smoking cigars for almost 10 years. However, I got more "serious" about smoking in the past year, and have made some awesome friends locally in the North Dallas area! While I have been on other cigar forums for many years, I am new to this forum. I've been a "lurker" for a bit, but I have resolved to become more active, as this is a truly wonderful community and resource to learn about our shared passion and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

I look forward to getting to know many of you in the future, and learning from the wealth of experience and knowledge here!

By "serious" do you mean "enjoying cigars from an island south of Miami"? :)  You're definitely in the right place.

If you're new to such cigars, I suggest grabbing a sampler or two, to begin your journey.  Otherwise... I think I saw you reply to the 24:24 guide thread, which is the natural next step.

Welcome!

Welcome!

What I mean by " Serious" is actually taking the time to learn about the brands, my preferences, the history, and identifying flavors, versus just smoking whatever random cigars I come across. I can recall a time that I thought I was cool because I smoked a "Cuban" cigar but couldn't tell you the brand, vitola, or what I liked about it. I don't wanna be that guy anymore! Lol
