Romeo y Julieta Mille Fluers AEM FEB 15 - Ode to the 40 and 42 gauge review week

Aroma at cold:  Sweet tobacco, cedar, and, for the first time in my life, I experienced what some call (perhaps infamously) "old lady's handbag".  I immediately had a "scent memory" and was brought back to my youth, digging for candy in my grandmother's purse; leather, old perfume, loose jolly ranchers, unsmoked cigarettes.

Drink pairing:  Coffee with milk.

First half:  Very mild in both body and strength, with sweet toasted tobacco, cedar, and floral notes dominating.  Perfect draw and burn.  The name "Mille Fluer" was quite fitting with the flavor profile.  The "old lady's handbag" was still there, drifting in and out. 

Last half:  The profiles above became muted, but still present.  Leather and toasted tobacco took over.  Overall, a mild and enjoyable smoke.  The perfect "cheap and cheerful" cigar for my tastes.

I have only had experience with older RyJ Mille Fleur and I must say I was genuinely surprised how good it was for a 'cheap and cheerful'. Thanks for the review!
