Looking for an inexpensive ring guage like you see at some of the shops. Anyone know where I can come up with one?

kab, I don't know, offhand, where to find one. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I use a ruler when I want to check ring. One ring = 1/64", or .396mm.

I see you found one but I thought I'd share this idea I have an old circle templet that has a hole for drawing circles from 1" down every 64th of an inch it works great, you might beable to get these in office supply stores.

I just found a set of 6" digital calipers on amazon, I might pick them up myself.

I think somewhere I saw a metal or plastic stencil looking thing which had common ring sized holes on it, so you just match up the hole with the cigar and you have your ring. Maybe theres a print out somewhere.
